Privacy
Clinical Research Data Management Guide is built privacy-first. This page describes what the site actually does today, in plain English. It will be updated if the site's behavior changes.
What we collect
Server logs. Like nearly every website, our web server records basic technical information about requests: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use these logs for security and operations (for example, diagnosing errors), not for building visitor profiles. Application error logs record technical details of server-side errors.
That's currently it. There is no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no contact form collecting information on this site today. Pages load no third-party scripts, fonts, or resources at all.
Cookies
The site sets one cookie:

Analytics and consent
Analytics is planned for the future but is not currently installed. When it arrives, it will be off by default and will load only after you explicitly opt in. You will be able to accept, reject, or change your choice at any time from the Cookie Settings page, and the site will work fully either way. No pre-ticked boxes, no dark patterns.
Retention
Server and error logs are retained for operational purposes and routinely rotated; they are not mined for marketing or shared with third parties.
Your choices and questions
Because the site does no non-essential tracking today, there is nothing to opt out of — the default is already the most private option. Privacy questions are welcome via the Contact page.
